Can someone tell me how does this work? I w as in my school meet and wanted to get a drink so I grabbed a cup and went to pull down the lever to get some water and I seen that the water was dropping down on the left side, So that is the reason why I made this post If you know why it's doing this Please tell me.
Oh now that I see the video it makes more sense. My guess is something to do with the mechanism inside of the pouring part.

ReplyDeleteWhat a unusual phenomenon! My guess is that there is some small part inside the tap that is causing this. Ka pai for having such a curious mind!

ReplyDeleteWater has mass. The water being poured out is being pulled down by gravity, but so is the greater mass of the liquid behind it creating a pushing force as far as it can until gravity overcomes the pushing force and pulls it down.
